About the Agency
Timeline
We started as The Nerland Agency in 1975 — a scrappy creative shop built on Alaskan grit and a belief that local brands deserve world-class ideas.
In 2005, we became 100% employee-owned through an ESOP. When you own the outcome, you care differently.
In 2013, we became Spawn Ideas — named for the salmon that fight upstream. Curious. Driven. Wild.
